How do I write a useful query?

We just use a slightly modified version of the script from the previous page. The major difference here is that I moved some stuff that will always be the same to one of the include files. And I also added the parameter: AddDBParam to the query, by doing so the query will ask for all the records that contains the value 'aFieldValue' in the field 'someFieldName' <? include_once( $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'] .
