Using old layouts, the smart way( If you paid attention to what I wrote in the in the Relationships section )
- This is the reason why I wanted you to do a through name check on the relationships,
and if you did as I suggested, the following points will be easy.
- This is the reason why I suggested you should convert everything to FM 7/8 format,
because if you now have a 2nd copy of FileMaker 7 or 8 running with the former solution in layout mode and you have
your newly created file in FileMaker 8, you will be able to drag and drop the content of the layouts you need to the
new solution, and if you did a good job on the relationship names, the layouts will be fully functionable in terms of field reference.
